My name is Peggy Cheng. This is my poster for the assignment of cultural identity. The reason why I chose American culture for my topic is because I want to share my experiences with my classmates. Since most of my classmates came from different countries, they must have experienced some of the American cultures. So I want to use this opportunity to see will they have the same experiences as me. Let me briefly introduce my poster to all of you. First of all, I separated the poster into sixth parts. The little speech from a young girl is my introduction. The other parts are what I have experienced about the American culture. For example, the picture of the statue of liberty represents of idea of freedom and the picture of American president Obama represents the idea of fair. I also share my favorite place and event with all of you. If you guy have free time, please take a few minutes to look at it and feel free to leave any comments for me. I would love to discuss or share my experiences with all of you.

This is one of the pictures in my poster. These four hands are represented different nations. We can see that there are four hands with different colors, such as black, brown, yellow and white. It reflects that America is a multinational country.
