Have you have changed since you have been in the U.S.

      After living in the U.S. for three years, I found myself as a different person. Due to the environment has changed, my living style also have been affected. For example, Chinese food is no longer my favorite food. Since America is a country where has many nations, I get more opportunities to experience different nations’ living styles, for example, going to Japanese town or Korean town, we can get general ideas of what the living style of these nations are, what kinds of food they like, and how their languages are different with our language. These experiences have changed my opinions of viewing the world. I have learned how to admire the differences between my own living style and other nations’ living styles.

What you have become aware of since taking this class.

      After taking this class, I become aware of the people, objects, and event that around me. For example, going to Millennium Park and collecting things or event that relate to popular culture. In this assignment, I realize that paying attention to the things that around us, we can learn or gain knowledge from them. We pick the Chicago Cultural Center as the place that relates to popular culture, Different kinds of music concerts can be found in the Chicago cultural center. This is not what I am aware of. In the beginning, I through the Cultural Center is just a place that showing art or music staff for people. After listening few songs in there, I felt I have discovered a new places in Chicago. Also, comparing the song that I have heard, I found that different nations have they unique style of their music. For the music, I can image how the living styles are.
